A little mixing console. Each track (drums, bass, keys) has its own rack of outboard gear — add a compressor, dial it in with a preset, lock it in, then move on to EQ, or to another track. Effects stack and stay put. Every piece has a plain-language explainer and an A/B (the ◎ on a chip) to hear it on vs off. At the bottom, the mix bus processes the whole mix at once.
